Hypercube has been selected as Accredited Operator of the Sistema de Créditos Hídricos do Estado do Ceará (SCH-CE), a pioneering regulated water credit market that is shaping how water resilience is funded at scale. The accreditation, held through Hypercube Brasil, follows the eligibility review conducted by CearaPar under Edital de Credenciamento nº 001/2026, with the official result published in the Diário Oficial do Estado do Ceará on 7 October 2026.

SCH-CE establishes a regulated framework in which legal entities may operate as Accredited Operators within the state’s water credit system. The accreditation process remains permanent and open, and CearaPar provides public access to the official and updated list of accredited companies, supporting transparency throughout the programme.

The accreditation enables Hypercube’s infrastructure and the Global Water Credit Standard (GWCS) methodology to be put to work for local industry, communities and stakeholders. Ceará has long faced water scarcity and has built deep expertise in managing it, making the state a natural reference point for a market in which measured water outcomes can be translated into verifiable, traceable credits.

Activities within SCH-CE will be carried out in line with the system’s rules and requirements, with a focus on rigorous measurement, transparent registry operations and close cooperation with local partners. Further information on the accreditation process is available on the CearaPar website.
